about the route
On 29 October bmi will launch their new twice daily service from London Heathrow to Moscow Domodedovo, in conjunction with Russian Federation carrier Transaero. bmi will have a dedicated A320 aircraft to serve the route. Passengers will have a choice of two cabins, business and economy.
bmi business:
- 24 leather seats with adjustable headrest and footrest
- seats have a generous 41” legroom and 7” recline
- passengers travelling from Heathrow have a choice of check-in methods, online, self check-in, web points or dedicated check-in desk
- passengers have a generous 10kg hand baggage allowance and 30kg of hold baggage
- business class passengers can relax in the bmi lounge before their flight, they will also have access to the Transaero business lounge in Moscow
- onboard passengers will enjoy complimentary food and drinks including champagne and Stolynicha vodka
- each business passenger will have a handheld dvd player with a choice of films, tv and audio channels
bmi economy:
- 108 leather seats
- seats have 32” legroom and 5” recline
- passengers travelling from Heathrow have a choice of check-in methods, online, self check-in, web points or dedicated check-in desk
- passengers have 7kg hand baggage allowance and 20kg hold baggage
- onboard passengers will enjoy complimentary food and soft drinks.
Transaero business:
- 16 leather seats with adjustable headrest and footrest
- seats have a generous 40-44” legroom and 7” recline
- passengers can check-in using the dedicated check-in desk
- passengers have 5kg hand baggage allowance and 30kg of hold baggage
- business class passengers can relax in the bmi lounge before their flight from Heathrow, they will also have access to the Transaero business lounge in Moscow • onboard passengers will enjoy complimentary food and alcoholic drinks
- each business passenger will have a handheld dvd player
Transaero economy:

- seats have 32” legroom and 5” recline
- passengers can check-in at the airport using the manned check-in desks
